Wolfgang Amadeus
Austrian Composer
(1756-1791)
Mozart is the most well known
composer of modern times. A prodigy
of his father Leopold, Mozart composed
his first public performance at the age
of five. While touring France, England,
and Italy with his father, Mozart was
introduced to many forms of musical
composition, giving him the base of his
musical styles. Mozart’s peak of
performance is thought to be his string
quartets dedicated to Haydn, the great
operas “The Marriage of Figaro,” “Don
Giovanni,” and “Cosi fan tutte,” and his
later symphonies.
