Good Lovin’
Fuzzy
|
Lenny Rankins (“Fuzzy”), born in Cleveland, Ohio, has
his music roots in Gospel. Fuzzy moved to California
in 1990 where he met and performed with blues and
jazz artist Fro Brigham (formerly associated with
Louis Armstrong).
In 1992, he formed Fuzzy and the Bluesmen, and in
1993 the group was presented with the Jim Croce
Blues Award and the “Best Blues” music award. Fuzzy
has performed with blues legends B.B. King, Etta
James, Bobby “Blue” Bland, and Clarence
“Gatemouth” Brown.

About the Artist:
Lenny Rankins is one of the best musical talents to come around in a long time. His second blues CD, Good Lovin’ was first released in 1996. Of the 17 songs on Good Lovin’, Fuzzy wrote, produced, and arranged all but one. Several cuts received airplay on San Diego radio stations, and because of its popularity, Good Lovin’ was twice re-pressed for distribution. |
