Reincarnate
Torn
|
With a hard rocking sound and powerful
lyrics, Torn is inspired by artists such as Godsmack,
Sevendust, and Metallica, yet they still possess a unique
sound which has attracted a diverse group of fans and is
captivated beautifully on their first full length
album, Reincarnate.
Select cuts from "Reincarnate" will be included on the upcoming international DVD "The Making of Asia Diva". Music from the album will also be featured on the upcoming Discovery channel series "American Speedboat", a successful show from the makers of “American Choppers”.

About the Artist:
Torn originated in Spokane,WA with Nathaniel Byers (Vocals)
and Caleb Renish (Guitar). They worked with 15 different
musicians trying to find two others with the same passion for
rock music as themselves. Finally Jason Douglas (Bass) and
Mark Napoliani (Drums) added their talents to the band and
Torn was complete. With their original songs and energetic
performances they quickly developed a strong fan following.
Realizing that Spokane could not offer them the exposure
they needed, the band moved to New England in early 2003.
Within a month of their arrival they were playing gigs all over
Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire.
Now with fans on both sides of the country the band has seen some
major accomplishments. From winning a tri-state radio
sponsored Battle of the Bands, playing popular summerfests,
opening for regional and national acts, and receiving regular
airplay on several radio stations; Torn is making their mark on
the music world. |

Just down the street from where I live there is a store named "Deals." Everything
there is a dollar, and I was just looking for some good bargains. I happened
upon a large selection of CD's of artists I had never heard of before. I thought,"Why
Not?" I brought the CD home, and was I blown away!! This album
has everything I look for in a rock band. I was so surprised that I found something
this amazing hidden in a box of dollar CD's!!!

Review: I ran across this little gem of a CD at Target in their dollar section
of the store. Honestly I didn't expect a whole heck of a lot out of ANY of the
bands that I purchased. While there were defiantly a few that I bought that were
pretty much "dollar bands" Torn stood out as something much, much more.
The package ISN'T lying they really do resemble a Godsmack type band. I made
the
comparison of Breaking Benjamin fused with Godsmack. I strongly recommend this
band to ANY rock music fan out there! You cannot go wrong for the price. |
